  1. My kid also doesn’t want Ohtani. Thinks Jays are signing Vlad and Bo when time comes and now not at least one.
  2. It’s not a far leap from sleeping with the fishes jokes and racist sushi stuff. Not for me, thanks.
  3. Don’t want to say that here. It’s all just bad luck. Nothing else
  4. Fix the homeless situation first, so people actually can come there and not be skeeved out
  5. 3/6 is the winner I guess. Come playoff time we had the worthless Chappy, so I think Moncada as a stop gap 3b would be fine. Chapman is not the next level answer. Use the money somewhere else
  6. So tl;dr I should’ve put 4/6
  7. The only thing Jays could do to cringe me out is sign Chapman for 5/125 or worse
  8. I known to exaggerate a bit. It certainly felt like it though.
  9. He’s basically an upgrade from Chapman last year 5/6 of the time.
  10. He’s probably been floated already like BTS floats his fantasy players. At some point it’s not shooting yourself in the foot anymore.
  11. What im frequently guilty of, is leaving out pizza overnight and eating the leftovers the next day. I don’t like what happens to refrigerated pizza. I mean, I can eat cold pizza but don’t prefer it that way. And heating it up, just not a fan
  12. Yeah, I mean. I just wouldn’t have wanted to watch any of the stuff you do. It’s like thinking about germs and then if you ever go through food safety and learn about bacteria. When you go to eat that 3 hour old sandwich that didn’t hit the fridge, if you think you about that stuff, you’re not eating it. Ignorance is bliss for me.
  13. You’re not taking your pet chicken on family vacations. They’re still living in a coop for the sole purpose of being slaughtered. Plants are living things too. How you raise animals for slaughter and harvest crops is more about hipsters wanting to know what’s going in their bodies I’m an animal lover, but you have to look at these sort of things objectively.
  14. Yeah, I mean it’s the cliche “one major league ready guy” and prospects. I think there’s too much uncertainty with the owner dying, and it makes sense to have the headliner have 4+ years of control.
  15. Yes, I know. But I just meant if a team did that, they could really maximize their return.
  16. #43 for Trout is kinda harsh. I guess you can justify it by looking at his health issues as degenerative, which could be the case.
  17. What did Kris Bryant’s look like his FA year? I don’t know, but it’s just the closest situational comp that comes to mind.
  18. It’s 2 years man. If they’re raising the white flag to half-staff, that wouldn’t be the headliner.
  19. Well, that would be a pretty big alpha rebuild move. Trade Soto paying his whole salary.
  20. Nobody smart wants to ride on the CB train, Jim. The 1 year deal was the target.
  21. I’d assume they would know what they would be looking at with each team if they didn’t get Ohtani. Those calls have probably been going on for months. I’m sure they would wait if it made sense. If they make a move, there wasn’t something to wait for in their eyes
  22. I’d guess King plus a few lottery tickets gets it done.
  23. I’d never watch a documentary on this sort of thing. I understand all that stuff but there’s some things where ignorance is bliss.
  24. I read it like “watch King or Thorpe headline a trade”… I know it says otherwise, but I’d guess that’s what he meant, considering some outlets have reported they were hesitant to include Thorpe. I always doubted that but I don’t think it’s going to be King, Thorpe, and 3 other guys
