Nah. As has been pointed out.. Jays have a lot of depth as far as replacement SP goes.. some guys like Stroman and Hutch that may be good when needed.. so Jays more than most teams are in a position to take some chances on guys.. even with Morrow -

I was always of the opinion Jays should extend him the QO even though it was a few million more than market value. As someone said, its hard to go wrong on a one year deal. I doubted the Jays would be that active if the off-season..though I didn't this stagnant.. I've also always had the opinion.. pure speculation.. that the agent jerked AA around by pretending JJ was very open to signing a one year deal for less money so TOR wouldn't do the QO... and then they could promptly laugh at the stupid ass.. -
Yeah that's what it is. I highly doubt teams that are at the bottom of IP for their SP are inclined to have a lot of success without a super power O.

On the flip side..guys like Colby Rasmus (most likely) go with the flow and I doubt an upcoming FA season would be much diff than any other season in terms of prep/focus

ha. Glad to see you take off your sabr shirt button on this one:) I know the common belief is that the contract year is a myth but when we understand these people are humans with family.. I mean, if you were coming up to FA it would prob be discussed with your wife constantly. There's no doubt it can makes guys like PS prepare and focus on the upcoming season more than the avg one. Of course, that doesn't guarantee positive results..it's feasible in basbeall that one could prepare harder and still have a worse season than normal.. But in can also produce fanastic results in some cases..when you see signs like a guy losing 40lbs to prepare, taking the "over" is the wise choice though not gtd

There doesnt need to be a number spitting system. Imagine coming up with a number was a single event and the 700 billion people guessed on that.

Eliminate Tanaka scenario as its very clearly not 1/30. Given my example, 1-4.. If 700 billion people guessed the number 4 before me at a 33% rate.. You think my odds of getting it right will be more than 25% if i guess 4 because the people are more right than the odds?

This is nitpicking. Say its two numbers. You can either say .50 chance, 50%, or 1 in 2 chance If the lotto was truly a 1-268m chance to win, this is mirrored by an actual fraction or percentage
