  1. I agree but the ONLY possible way he would take the 1year deal is if he got like a $150m policy through Loyds of London or something. Can’t imagine what that’d run
  2. Well if the Jays feel the need to add a guy like Bryant or Turner that’ll prob mean we’ll take a serious run at Tommy La Stella, who wouldn’t be the worst signing I guess
  3. In 2018 you probably would’ve traded Giolito for a pack of bubble gum
  4. The super smart, advanced metrics Rays looked like they were going to let Glas pitch the inning if he didn’t get in trouble. Go figure
  5. It’s actually a lame joke that’s like 20 years past it’s prime, I don’t think many would get genuinely offended. Just the people that are offended over everything...you know these kind of people I imagine
  6. Just had some deep thoughts about your mom, gimps
  7. I think I’ve said before but I misremember Junior Felix being a good prospect, seems he wasn’t as all. What are the other biggest busts in Jay history. I can think of Alex Gonzalez and Travis Snider. Any other Top 5 type guys that failed over the years?
  8. Well even if they have the depth Springer will make them think twice on a good offer if he keeps mashing through the playoffs
  9. I didn’t know they had video like that back when you made this. Who was videotaping you?
  10. I’ll win bbdl off a rebuild in next couple years as long as it’s still around
  11. I think there was still the matter of putting an asterisk next to your championship since your team was inherited

Here’s a great question: who’s the bigger d-bag... Aaron Rodgers or Jimmy Butler

I didn’t watch. Happy with that as JB can blow a donkey. Can’t stand him. Looking at the box score and surprised AD only took 9 shots. Was talking about how aggressive his mentality was going to be. Give credit to the Heat coaches I guess for their scheme (I’m guessing)

I definitely stuck a fork in them before the first game. I wonder what the odds of them winning the series were prior to tonight. Probably really high obviously Still a long shot I guess

Ah, yes. Still have to get used to that. Glad I moved on. Now I mostly root for the dumpster fire to rage on

NFC E is 2-12 lol. I know the Redskins beat the Eagles once, so that was 1 win that had to be

That news only broke 12 hours ago. I’m assuming you’re following someone’s Twitter feed by the minute?
  21. If that’s the case it prob helps Lindor’s cause that MM wasn’t meh again this year
  22. I’d take Springer over Lindor in a second. The former won’t cost major prospect(s) and will likely come with a contract you can swallow. Lindor will prob want some 8 year deal/extension or something easy What are chances Houston let’s Springer walk anyway? Obviously if everyone else is healthy they could absorb the loss
  23. Not really about baseball solely but was just reading an article on sports cards sold this year: This year alone, Goldin Auctions has seen seven cards go for more than $500,000 -- one of which set the all-time record -- and all but one was from the 21st century. CARD PRICE DATE 2009 Mike Trout $3.84 million* Aug. 22 2013-14 Giannis Antetokounmpo $1.86 million Sept. 21 2003-04 LeBron James $1.8 million July 18 2003-04 LeBron James $1.08 million Aug. 22 2009 Mike Trout $922,500 May 16 1968 Nolan Ryan $600,000 Aug. 22 2003-04 LeBron James $540,000 Aug. 22 *most expensive card ever sold Imagine having 3.8 mil to drop on a f***ing Mike Trout piece of cardboard

Maybe but Finals opener ratings were down 45% from last year (with the Raps as one of the teams). Lowest ever
  25. Yeah meant pre. Lot of chatter he was drafted way higher than should’ve been. But in context of what you were saying, agreed
