Yeah I’d have to say probably best bet for Raps would be trade for Harden. Nobody is coming to “team up” with Lowry. They may for Harden. Thats their only chance of ever getting a Max FA that’s desired by others Not sure his style of play fits but may be worth a shot

Dahl had a 10 wRC+ in 100 ABs, with even worse defense than last year pace wise, and he’s through 4 years of service time. Not sure why people keep using him as poster boy for the Covid wrecking ball. Could be a nice/ok pickup for someone but could also be waste of $3m

Yeah it’s a really steep price. Wouldn’t argue with someone that thought it was too much. But aces can be 30ish and still command long deals at $30m+/yr Bauer is rare bird not looking for 7/210+. Hopefully makes it more realistic play for Jays Trade for Snell though and they should be able to still afford elite bat

I don’t think mlbpa lets you buy out contracts. So they’d just pay the 2/48 but point is it’s still on their books
