    Seems like if he did he would’ve dropped hard though. As someone said, it seems almost preferable if they’re already in the process, instead of an Aiken situation where they blow it out the next spring and now they’re spending 2024 on inning counts in the minors

    Yeah sure they were disappointed but yeah, you take a college pitcher that you’re thinking is a fast track player for your “win now” team… if he has TJ the next few months, 2022 is out the window, 2023 is a lost year really too.

    Yeah I’m not a fan but if he’s the 2b next year if Semien walks, I won’t have the pitchfork out at least… well at least not April

    Yeah when you have someone as s***** as Biggio has been, you ride the hot hand. I’m not sure there’s anyone that is delirious enough to think Espinal and his 1hr power is a long term piece but guys can ride their way to whole fluke seasons. If he comes back to the mean and he’s more like a borderline .700 OPS guy, that’s what Biggio is anyway rn but Espanil doesn’t hurt you in the field
