  1. The heat got too much for him and now he’s making a back door. f***er
  2. Someone be like WTF is 70% lol. *******. Don’t make your first post
  3. One would have to assume he asked to play there, or at least get a good look there. Otherwise why put that this off-season? ..which would make the FF pursuit make more sense
  4. Freeman or bust now that Carlos B dropped that s***.
  5. Someone guessed it was like that. We need facts lol
  6. Being a negative Nancy should warrant a 24hr ban for him if FF signs
  7. Bryant is a coin flip man. Someone else can flip that coin
  8. Vladdy is a generational superstar, they’re not going to be making him DH more than the occasional spot. If FF comes, he’s going to 3b
  9. Don’t get me started on Laila’s target Villar
  10. And Vlad at 3b >>>> Biggio, which we would probably still see at least a chunk of time unless there’s some other move.
  11. The OP is hardly conclusive. He’s like he heard it, but then asks ppl where you think he’d sign. Now he’s got all the wannabees trying to get everybody’s pants tingling
  12. Then you have the”Phillies LOD” scenario where a team sells off their future going for the gold. If they end up face planting, that’s not good for anyone. So that’s just all a bunch of arguments for the other side. Not really saying which way is better
  13. Idk. Not sure there’s anything wrong with dipping the toes in the water. That’s what they’ve been doing. Next step would probably be allow it but limit the amount of picks a team can have in a certain round and such idk
  14. Yeah there’s always two sides to the coin. Not saying either way is right. But if you have a mid-market team, which happens often, that’s kind of stuck between rebuild or not, you’d encourage them to start selling off parts thinking they could do a faster rebuild. And then there’s the low payroll teams previously mentioned.
  15. It would also encourage tanking, letting teams compile picks
  16. I assume the fear would be the bigger teams selling off their picks and future picks to the small market teams who wanted to keep abusing the system of living off cheap labor. Just spitballing. I know they e relaxed some things with it in recent years
  17. I guess that’s going on the assumption that every veteran is dying to win. I’d imagine mlb is sort of like real life. You can have an office full of people making a good salary, some are content just coming to work and cashing the nice check and others are looking to step on someone’s throat to move up. Not a perfect parallel of course, but he’s probably gotten used to losing and made peace with it. Or at least doesn’t put winning at top of priorities at least
  18. Let’s see the wife from the front
  19. I hope Pearson is just an RP so there’s at least a 30% he’s useful this season

I wonder if the buyer is so rich that they don’t gaf.. or if it was someone that layed out for it, relatively speaking, and was looking at it as an investment. Hopefully not the latter lol
