  1. That was the side scrolling one I imagine? That brought memories of Nintendo Power magazine. I remember getting all excited about those games
  2. Idk man. Collectibles have really taken off. How is Mike Trout cards selling for millions of dollars? And all this NFT s*** I completely don’t understand at all. I should just have a flip phone
  3. I know there’s a lot of people that think the owners are just trying to fool people asking for an arbitrator as a media stunt. This just doesn’t hold up to facts though. What if the players agreed? You only get an arbitrator involved if you’re willing to make meaningful concessions, otherwise you’re going to get exposed as the bigger part of the problem
  4. In comparison, if you were a super savvy WS investor and snatched up Apple at .12 in 1985 and held it, you’re looking at 590k on a $50 investment if my math is correct
  5. Can’t open them though. Every person that bought a Nintendo had the 1985 Super Mario Bros. $2m this year if you didn’t open it. Pretty crazy.
  6. Oh. Well that sucks for them bc original Zelda is $50 pre owned
  7. Bro. You need to buy one that’s never been opened, and put it in a chest in the attic. You can’t play it lol
  8. Well I’m saying in 30-40 years nostalgia to those millionaires will be PS1 or something. So if you could have an unopened mint game 50 years old, could be worth some serious bank if a lot of other ppl don’t do it
  9. Of course prob a lot of people think like that and there will still be a lot of supply
  10. Going OT but video games seem to be a good long term investment. Zelda original went for around $1m. Super Mario 65 which came way later $1.5m. I’m not a big gamer but something like GTA1 or something mint in another 20 years would prob pay for your kids college
  11. Prob SNES. I only remember like the stick figure baseball game when NES came out and RBI baseball. I think it was in the era when you could keep stats but not sure. Good times though.
  12. I actually remember playing the game after seeing it, even if I’m thinks of different one. played them all but not the robot ones really.
  13. f***. That’s not it. Lol. Idk
  14. Damn it. This brought back memories of some old-school baseball game where you hit a HR and it went into space and such. Now it’s going to bug me what the game was
  15. Parity is good for any league. You can’t let a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

They may want to make sure Burrow doesn’t get sacked 8x a game
  17. Yeah this I agree with, all the top line rev is going to be gone and still all the operating expenses. Not to mention possible litigation with tv partners and whoever else. Not sure how that works
  18. How much have they really saved? They still have to keep up the facilities and admin/coaching staffs. I doubt they furloughed those guys. Not to mention the insane legal fees they’re prob racking up. Any ST internal housing is prob already bought and paid for, as well as catering contracts. You think they’ll be like “ok, ST training starts next week so let’s find stuff”
  19. I know Dinger probably emailed Speedy to set his lineup. Bastard
  20. Actually I’ll concede defeat to you Jim bc that’s the way the world is headed. Your way. So you’re the victor more every day
  21. Criminal responsibility can be spread around with letting anyone off the hook. Take the Raider WR. Maybe someone gets in trouble for over-serving him but that isn’t letting the guy off the hook for killing the chick. Someone else’s mistake doesn’t take away personal responsibility
  22. Jim, serious wtf is wrong with you? Yes, dealing drugs is illegal and can land someone in jail for a long time sometimes. That doesn’t do anything to negate the quoted opinion
  23. Looking back through a few pages, it’s all talking about the diff between “passed away” and “died”, what are you spiking the football over?
  24. What did Barkerfan do to get banned anyway? He shared unpopular opinions?
