    They didn’t try every hard as they didn’t value him at the break up and didn’t value him much more in FA. Poor defender. A lot of people here wanted to move on for the same reason.

    I’d take him as third pitcher behind Burns and Smith. A lot of college bats this year, but I’d take TY over the high bats. And college pitchers obviously. I think I’d take him 12th after the first 8, then: Montgomery, Tibbs, Smith. Woof to Jays 2nd pick. Didn’t know him before draft but not a fan of the capsule. Deck McGuire vibes

    I actually have Yesavage on my dynasty team. Didn’t think he make it to #20. Nice grab. Braden Montgomery going to Boston is no bueno though. He’s going to tear that place up.

    Fair enough, I just happened a couple weeks ago to look at their last 20 years worth of 1sts and they all were garbage. I didn’t have much recency bias. You’re not wrong though

    I read it was regarded as weak draft but there seems to be a bunch of potential impact players through the 1st round. Even into Round 2. A lot of interesting players. I don’t know past that how deep.

    Yeah, best strategy on a catcher is find someone with the defensive tools to be solid there and someone that will be league average bat. Jansen is a good comp for what you can look for. Don’t spend your 1st round pick chasing that. Jays seems to quite frequently take the safe approach with their 1st. Granted, except last year when they went out on a limb for sure, but maybe a bit too much.

    Reappeared for me. Connor’s seal of approval on guys that likely will be in play Brody Brecht Theo Gillen Tommy White William Schmidt (extreme risk factor, not the safe play, but Jays never seem to go high ceiling and when has it worked in 20 years?

    Have you even seen the show Cobra Kai? I liked the first couple seasons but it got kind of cheesy and I stopped watching. But anyways, I prefer to look at things from the Johnny lens

Try running a company and the managers get together and decide to collude against an employee with a targeted harassment campaign, until the employee quits. These guys would be in court with their attorney Laila, rocking his 2 for $300 Men’s Warehouse Suit. Co-counsel Terminator will be there in body, but more in spirit, watching YouTube on his phone, while I wipe the floor with them all, on my way to a big jury award.

    MLB has Jays taking Seaver King. They’d probably be ok with the 40 Power, since he’s got great defense versatility, like the cucks that they are.
