  1. I turned to that channel and the first thing I heard was that. Never watching it again...
  2. And amazingly, not all of them have been stinkers. Some pretty decent starts in those 16.
  3. There will be a need if Lind goes on the dl. Put him at lf/dh
  4. Jiminez = Sal Perez lite?
  5. Oh god i have nightmares. Gose and Mathis and Hechavaria starting every day.
  6. Anyone else see the velocity on his fastball? it was at 85 mph. It was at 81-82 in the first half. That is an absolutely fantastic sign.
  7. Davis does that, and can actually hit a little. No place for Boner on this team with Davis the pinch runner and when Kawasaki can easily be a decent back up to Izzy and Reyes
  8. Kawasaki OBP .320, Bonerface OBP .230 Thats why.
  9. Buck probably said it, but hes right, its is interleague with the rockies.
  10. Yan f***ing Gomes sure as hell would
  11. If Mcgowan pitches well for a while, say a month or two, do you start stretching him out as a starter? You can do what they for Rogers and pitch him 50 pitches one game and work up from there. Hes definitely got the stuff. FB that touches 98, and a slider and a curveball that are both good pitches.
  12. I was at the game today and he was throwing 97 on the stadium gun. It seems like his fastball is even better then it was before. I wasnt able to see the movement since I was in section 221 and he didnt throw many off speed pitches so I couldnt gauge them either. If his arm holds up, he instantly gives us the best stuff on the entire organization. His control isnt there yet, buy hopefully that will get better as he pitches more. This is yet another case of the Delabar shoulder strength program working off. Cecil, Delabar, Mcgowan. The Jays need to encourage all the pitchers to go on it. Atleast the guys who are injury prone like Santos and Morrow.
  13. Top 6 gonna have to carry us today. Might be lucky to get 3 hits total from the bottom 3.
  14. Pathetic. I wish I lived in St.Louis
  15. Awesome. Maybe another week or so before he can start going 100% and start rehabbing soon after that?
  16. Whats this about Morrow still being up in the air? I thought he was set to start tomorrow?
  17. Ya thats probably the biggest thing. It might extend the games by a few minutes, but for me that doesnt matter. The more baseball the better. Especially if it leads to better umpiring.
  18. I think what they should do is a have one or two guys watching all the bang bang plays and tags and whenever there is a missed call, just radio down to the crew chief who would have an ear piece and correct it.
  19. http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/mlb-hoping-large-replay-expansion-164806860--mlb.html Article says that Selig and Torre have looked at expanding video replay all the way to all plays except balls and strikes. There would be a official in a booth at the stadium or in one place with the umps on the field having head sets.
