  1. Lawrie was a HS pick I guess
  2. What’s the highest a Canadian HS player has been selected? To me it is real impressive for that HS catcher from Alberta to go in the third round.
  3. Agreed. Fully onboard moving Bassitt and the three expiring pitchers. Demand will be high
  4. I’m skeptical of Schneider at this point. Leo looks like a stout little back up infielder. Horwitz I like the best but he’s gotta be able to play second to have much value
  5. I cannot see anything but pain The farm is bad. They are doing an excellent job of almost turning players into big leaguers, but just falling short. Instead everyone is a platoon corner outfielder or second baseman who can play first with mildly interesting skills. The most vanilla farm system in the MLB
  6. This is the way
  7. Oh ya Kooch is definitely starting for those teams too Kikuchi Bassitt Richards Garcia Should all be sold
  8. I bet teams are calling about Bassitt. Say whatever you want about him but he hasn’t had an ERA over 6 since 2016 and there aren’t a ton of starters available 7 game series Chris Bassitt is absolutely starting for the Dodgers, Orioles, Astros, Cardinals plus just the eating the innings through August and September
  9. Every team has guys like Barriera, Rojas and Maroudis who you can look at and say wow if only they did X things would look a lot better The farm is a mess. Bottom 10 for sure and nobody that looks like an impact talent
  10. Dang great round for Bohm
  11. 90 wrc+ and 1 WAR 2/15 Great signing
  12. Haha okay Mr Righteous good for you 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
  13. Holy s*** that anthem was baaaad
  14. Well no, probably not Would you?
  15. Good summary. IKF has been miles better than I expected. That was a good signing. A true professional
  16. Ya I think everyone took a Larry when they were supposed to take a Roger and we ended up here Interesting article I agree. I also agrree with you that it was in Joc’s best interest to pump Toronto’s tires a little as a FA to be
  17. Well your argument is they had a 50% off coupon for an injury prone 34 year old who relies on athleticism coming off the second most games played of his career who was surprised at the lack of interest Red flags galore
  18. I think everyone agrees with you. But it’s the all star break and somebody mentioned Joc Pederson on a message board. And here we are
  19. I’m not going to rehash why it was a retarded signing but it was
  20. Pretty clear what you said. Which is why I said he found one post but that didn’t register with him
  21. I don’t think it’s over reacting, it’s merely just observing incompetence of the Blue Jays AI front office 1) they allegedly made Chapman an offer the same day the Giants did. So they hadn’t closed the book on him because they signed IKF 2) KK was a terrible signing from the start. Paying a defensive specialist coming off one of his best offensive seasons what could possibly go wrong 3) yes this one looks the worst. It’s like they were hell bent on signing the last one of the DH dudes in order to get the best deal I bet the vets roll their eyes and f***ing hate when khaki Ross wanders down to field level
  22. From nobody! Which makes it even more strange. Maybe he had a very short list of places he would go
