I know what the projections say but what happens over the next 400 AB’s is different than the next 40. Hit him third even but I want Bo then Vlad back at the top of the order come the later innings right now

I hope not. They’ve already done their ode to Canada, I think they’ll recognize nobody likes the reds and it’s for the city not the country. Maple Leafs inspired jersey is my guess

I love the City Connect jerseys. Some of them suck but most of them are pretty decent The Jays have to stay away from red when they do theirs. The current reds are terrible.

I guess the bottom line is they aren’t going to be competitive without at least a couple cost controlled above average regulars. Whether they spend on Vlad/Bo whoever. There are hardly any exciting hitters in the farm system. Barger can hopefully become something, but the next most exciting guy might be Bonilla who is 17. Maybe Horowitz is Eric Hosmer who can play corner outfield and first.
