    lol yup. Do they even have enough room on the payroll to plug holes at 2B, C, and maybe 1B/DH with viable replacements? This is going to be a pretty lousy winter once again. Just clean house already.

    Always have to use the manager as a scapegoat for bigger problems. Gibbons is practically irrelevant in this whole f***ing abomination of a season. I really have no problem with him, it's the idiots at the top (Beeston/AA) that need to f***ing go. I mean I hate how hypocritical some can be towards the manager based on season results. I mean I guess we can try to hire a 10 WAR manager or what not, but the manager is "just there" handling defensive assignments with the other coaches, and managing the bullpen (which I've had no problem with for the most part). I'd hope the people who dislike Gibbons would still dislike him even if the Jays were 72-57.

    They won 72 games last season and they are on pace to win 72 games this year lol.

    Gibbons is probably getting fired right when the season ends. Not that he is responsible for the team's abysmal performance, but he will obviously be made a scapegoat here. Casual fans want his head and AA will do the deed of firing him.
