  1. People who care about the FC: you People who don't care about the FC: everyone else
  2. Disagree. You traded your own avatar player... it was a symbolic castration.
  3. I offered quite a bit for Waino... I think he would have been mine if you didn't castrate yourself to make it happen for you.
  4. Anthony Ranaudo is complicating my major league team by being in the majors. He's available for the highest pick offered in the next 12 hours or so. Guy was a former top-100 prospect and he was very stellar in 2013 and 2014 in the upper minors. Young post-hype arm.... should be worth something to someone rebuilding.
  5. Agreed. Really, the only time a commissioner should ever be asked to process a trade is if only one MLB piece is changing teams, and the accepting team has an empty roster spot.
  6. New rule! Don't bug commissioners to process your trades if: A) your roster doesn't have space involved players are in currently offered trades C) your roster has mismanaged NA/DL slots prohibiting transactions D) you need to cut/promote minor league assets and you haven't specified which ones In general, this s*** is a hell of a lot simpler if you guys just do the Yahoo portion of trades on Yahoo by yourselves (granted, sometimes this isn't possible).
  7. How could anyone not be high on Tapia?
  8. Oh he wouldn't have been the centrepiece. I think a guy like Hunter Harvey (offered) or Raimel Tapia (sort of offered) would be more valuable than Niese. Add in the first rounder and Niese might have been the third or fourth best asset. .... If you're pessimistic about Niese. He has some unattractive aspects for sure, but he remains extremely fantasy relevant and somehow he's staying on the field, still young, never really did throw hard.
  9. yeah, a little confused. I feel like I offered more. Jon Niese has to be worth a lot more than Cingrani at this point, right?
  10. I will be out of the country and likely without internet from the 6th to the 22nd, so please direct any grievances towards the other Darrells. Also, if you have any interest in trading for my dudes or if you have been involved in ongoing trade discussions with me recently, we might want to exchange some messages before I leave. Hit me up. I'm looking to buy impact 2014 pieces for minor league assets.
  11. This league is a constant war against team attrition. I had a good team last year and I have a good team this year, but I would be fairly mediocre right now if I didn't do some things like get lucky with Arrieta and land Melky.
  12. This is why I don't even bid on these veteran arms like Lee, Waino, Greinke, etc.
  13. In season waiver priorities do not = slots for the rule 5 draft (commonly called the waiver draft). Boxy could blow his #1 waiver priority on someone like Nick Markakis this season, and his first round rule 5 pick for February 2015 would still be in the lottery for 1st overall.
  14. LOL Josh Hamilton. Also, wow, Adrian Gonzalez' slashline really went into the pooper.
  15. Xander Bogaerts is just crushing dreams this year.
  16. As was stated, waiver slot picks became tradeable as soon as 2015 draft picks did. We just forgot to add them to the spreadsheet. They are there now (scroll down!). We will keep that pattern for future years. Next season's Rule 4 and Rule 5 picks will become legal trade chips immediately following the conclusion of our June Rule 4 draft. Next year's rule 5 picks will not become tradeable right after the February rule 5. I don't like the idea of having picks from two different drafts and years in play at the same time. Seems messy.
  17. Guys, I don't think you all realize how enormously gratifying it is to draft a future Blue Jays Ace, graduate him onto your Dynasty league fantasy roster, and then watch him blossom immediately.
  18. I can only speak for myself, but I just found Odorizzi to be extremely underwhelming during his first few times through the league in terms of both stuff and results. The velocity and the K rate weren't really there, and his AAA rate stats only ranged from pedestrian to good. So if anyone else is like me, they might have kind of written him off as something less than he is, and they haven't really been paying attention to him this year especially after the garbage March/April. I just Fangraphs.com'd him for the first time in months and I have to admit, his K rate knocked my buttplug clean out of my anus.
  19. You don't want to know. Basically, walking in on your grandpa getting pegged by grams would be less of an eyesore.
