He needs a better editor on his website, that's for sure. But generally speaking I like how he writes, the way it reads. It's like somebody who knows a lot is just talking to you about a topic.
I also really like how he rolls little factoids like that into his pieces.
He's just a good story-teller I think and the odd grammatical trip up doesn't really bug me.
Lots of baseball writers and pundits can churn out a textbook story about a transaction but most of the time they don't have any flavour. That's why I'll read something by Lott or Griffin from time to time but I'll pretty much never click on a Shi Dividi link.
