  1. Don't scout stats! http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=dicker001mck http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=betts-000mar http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=goldsc001pau Just trust BP and BA and you'll be solid.
  2. I'm sorry. Here, someone wrote something nice about Blackburn: http://thedynastyguru.com/2015/03/30/stocking-your-scout-team-starting-pitcher/
  3. It's almost as bad as Rodon for two worthless Saber monkeys
  4. Borucki did have elbow surgery but apparently it was a "clean up" and not TJS. Maybe bone chips or something like that. Probably misses a big chunk of 2015.
  5. He's had TJ before too so if he's cutting cut again, could be terrible.
  6. A few days ago he got shut down with a sore elbow and described it as 'tennis elbow'. Safe to assume it's a serious arm injury.
  7. Pitchers Norris 195 IP - 3.2 fWAR Sanchez 105 IP - 1.2 fWAR (moves to pen and is good there) Castro 80 IP - 2.0 fWAR (elite setup all year) Osuna 100 IP - 2.0 fWAR (gets some starts in the second half and holds his own) Batters Travis 600 PA - 2.5 fWAR Pompey 600 PA - 1.5 fWAR (defense + patience. Low average) Blue Jays win the World Series and everyone on this list gets ROY votes but Norris wins it after winning 20 games. Also Jeff Hoffman pitches in the playoffs and is WS MVP.
  8. meh, it's not like they are directly contradicting doctor's orders. I bet a fair chunk of MLB pitchers are operating with partially torn, undiagnosed UCLs.
  9. That's interesting. I wonder if he's tweaked his mechanics to be cleaner but offer less velocity, or if he's just going to use less effort and/or rely less on the 4 seamer.
  10. John Lott always takes some amazing ST photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/lottonbaseball/sets/72157650977259446/
  11. this is wonderful
  12. Have we met? Creepy that you know me so well
  13. she's real purdy and she likes sports i think she'd like me
  14. Boyd seems a little pumped up. Everything hanging up in the zone.
  15. Vladdy knows less English than the Jays rookie relievers, probably.
  16. yeah I see a few red flags with Bradley. sheet says you got Archie for Carp
  17. quite the monster. three examples of bad mechanics + a cryogenic thumb
  18. It's going to be funny later this season when Waino breaks down and Harvey+Braun are both killing it old school.
  19. No, he was beaten to death with a hammer for drug debts in 2012.
  20. Jamie Campbell ‏@SNETCampbell 6m6 minutes ago The @BlueJays brought Luis Perez to Montreal. Apparently he's impressing in minor league camp. Could factor in big leagues this year. Perez was solid in 2012. Left side velocity. Basically hasn't pitched in two years. IIRC his offspeed stuff was OK too.
  21. Actually I think it's pretty straight forward. Rollins Crawford Puig Gonzalez Pederson Kendrick Grandal Uribe Possible Ellis ends up catching Kershaw
  22. *Time to [hit the pavement] & explore this beautiful city!
