  1. Lol at some people here thinking Pompey's slide at home was dirty or illegal. Unreal..
  2. That was the most intense, dramatic Jays game i have ever witnessed, and that's going back a long ways.
  3. My point is the Indians can shed salary if they are serious about extending EE. Carlos Santana is a liability defensively, but if you think his 110 wRC+ at 1B counteracts that, then all the power to you.
  4. Santana comes off the books at the end of 2016 and i seriously doubt they pick up his $12mil team option, his defense sucks and he will not be their DH moving forward. They need a big bat like EE's and bats like his don't come cheap, unless there is a stud prospect they have that can give them some cheap offense.
  5. Really? EE has averaged a 4.1 WAR over the past four seasons with a 150 wRC+ average in that span and has 3-4 solid seasons left, especially when utilized as a DH. His 2016 contract is a steal and Cleveland shouldn't have a problem extending him. EE would give Cleveland that huge power threat in the middle of their line up that they desperately need. Carrasco is 29 years old and has just recently hit his stride, although he's basically controllable through 2018 (averaging roughly $6mil per) with $9mil options after that. The Jays may have to throw in a controllable SP like a SRF or / and Greene / Harris. IMO, EE is more of a proven commodity as of right now.
  6. True.. Maybe Cleveland for Carrasco might be a real possibility, but it has to be done over the winter.
  7. EE + SRF to St.Louis for Carlos Martinez is waiting to happen, especially after the Cardinals early exit. EE could / should be the center piece in acquiring a controllable young SP. I don't see EE aging well in the next few years.
  8. Nah.. Stroman looked considerably better than Price in his start. I like the decision to start Stroman if there's a game five.
  9. Gibby's ' decision to start the inning with Hawkins over Hendriks is all anyone needs to refer to.
  10. He'll start the eighth to face Deshields then Cecil to face Choo,Fielder, Moreland.
  11. Go get them tomorrow. We weren't sweeping anyway.
  12. Collabello needs to play. Gibby figures he'd be witty giving Smoak the start today vs the RHP and give Collabello the start vs Hamels tomorrow. Collabello needs to start every game here out and use Smoak as a late inning defensive replacement.
  13. Smoak should have been thinking the other way with the runner on third and two out. With the shift on, it would have been the smart play.
  14. Ok everyone listen up.. IT'S EARLY AND WE ARE ONLY DOWN BY TWO WITH PRICE ON THE MOUND. RELAX.
  15. We'll get him second time around. Gallardo f***ing sucks.
  16. Martin trying to pull an outside fastball. It's true that you need to use the whole field, especially in the playoffs.
  17. I'm so sick and tired of listening to the local media's rants on how dangerous an opponent Texas is right now and how the Jays need to play perfect ball in this series. Are you f***ing kidding me? Behold the rath that will be laid upon the Rangers and whomever else that steps in it's path.
  18. You actually didn't get what I meant in who needs a "hat"? And you I need to understand the puns? Lol..
  19. Nothing to think about or figure out.
  20. Who the f*** needs a hat? Bareback material.
  21. He hit a HR on a fastball at his neck earlier this year. If he's using a 34/31, it must feel like a twig to him.
  22. Gattis is one big ass mother.
  23. LOL.. I just said the same thing.
