Really? EE has averaged a 4.1 WAR over the past four seasons with a 150 wRC+ average in that span and has 3-4 solid seasons left, especially when utilized as a DH. His 2016 contract is a steal and Cleveland shouldn't have a problem extending him. EE would give Cleveland that huge power threat in the middle of their line up that they desperately need. Carrasco is 29 years old and has just recently hit his stride, although he's basically controllable through 2018 (averaging roughly $6mil per) with $9mil options after that. The Jays may have to throw in a controllable SP like a SRF or / and Greene / Harris.
IMO, EE is more of a proven commodity as of right now.
