I really hate Gibbons so much.
After the visit to the mound, Gibby should have put on the hit and run. You know you're getting a fastball for a strike in that situation, and Pillar got a perfect pitch on the outer half to shoot the other way.
Tons of off balanced swings resulting in weak contact. It's frustrating when an offence collectively approaches each pitch expecting fastball no matter what. I don't recall anybody really squaring up an off speed pitch today.

There is something to this. The hitters and ball parks combined make pitching in the AL East difficult. He's just a kid and is learning and building endurance on the fly. You can't expect much more.
