    d'Arnaud has much better pitch recognition and doesn't look like he's swinging a 40oz bat. If Jansen really wants to improve, he needs to get on an off season strengthening program for starters.

    I know this sounds somewhat illogical because it was only one game, but the team had a different vibe in the game we won while Chuckles served his one game suspension. We looked a lot tidier and executed all around. For the love of God Atkins, please hand over the reigns to Schneider in the off season.

    He's a great option given his friendly contract. Nothing wrong with Gurriel hitting seventh or eighth in the line up and I believe he is better than the numbers he's put up so far.

    What bugs me the most is right after taking the lead on Semien's HR, we immediately give up three runs in the bottom half to a f***ing scrub offence.

    I've said it from the beginning of the season that Gurriel should always be hitting ahead of Grichuk. We should just forget about this season with Montoya running the show.
