    That kind of stupid thinking is the reason we were able to draft Stroman in the first place. If Stroman had been 5 inches taller, he would have been drafted top 5 for sure. Not sure why people think shorter = more fragile. Look at guys like Morrow, Josh Johnson, etc. Those guys are tanks and they're injured all the time.

    Wow I didn't even know that... But the difference this year is that we are in a wildcard spot right now. Looks like the AL is alot weaker as a whole. And the Jays have a much stronger roster than last year.

    Wow so AA was going hard after Leake + another pitcher, but he ended up getting Price instead. AA wanted to finish the Leake trade but Reds' GM wanted to wait ok more offers, and AA ended up pulling the trigger on Price instead. Great article

    But 17.1 + 43.4 = 60.5, not 60.6 Jk, i'm dumn. I don't really put much stock into those playoff percentages though. Didn't the jays have like an 80% chance to make the playoffs last year after the 36-22 start? That didn't work out so well...

    Fair enough. Leake will also cost more than Dickey. The main thing is that I personally don't trust Dickey to keep pitching like he is now. But its ultimately up to AA and what he thinks.
