    I specifically remember him ripping into Lawrie and Pillar a couple years ago. Lawrie got mad that Lind didn't tag up for a sac fly, and Gibby was yelling at him on the bench. Its safe to assume he had a conversation with Brett after. And there was a time when he pinch-hit for Pillar and he threw a hissy fit. Gibby put him in his place after that and he was sent back to AAA. So you're just bullshitting dude.

    The only reason this trade would be bad is if Tulo becomes a below-average hitter. Tulo has an additional 3 years on his contract compared to Reyes, but at least Tulo plays great defense. Reyes would have been a dumpster fire for 2016/2017. Castro could be a decent starter, and Hoffman has great upside, but Tulowitzki is a premium player at a premium position.

    Maybe Pillar's broken hand was a deciding factor in trading for Revere at the deadline. If Pillar had to hit the DL, we could have seen Revere in CF and Carrera in left.
