Honestly f***ing gross that they overturned that. Now players have incentive to try and "act" like they got hit hard. Baseball is turning into soccer now.
So today i've learned that we have a lot of doctors on the forum. Wow!
I'm not sure why its so hard for some of you to understand that a panel of experts and the suits in the front office who DO THIS FOR A LIVING believe that it is better to transition Sanchez to the bullpen to keep his arm from wearing out. Why don't you guys stop pretending you know better than the front office.
I don't think he's overrated... He was one of the top starters in baseball in 2014. He's gotta work out his pitch selection though, and get back to being a strikeout pitcher. At his best, I think he's a borderline 1/2 starter.
You do understand that a Major League Baseball club has numerous certified experts to give them advice right? They obviously think/know that it's better to have Sanchez pitch from the bullpen (maybe 4-5 innings per week) versus starting (more around an average of 12 innings per week)
I like Brandon Moss as a potential replacement for the DH/1B spot next year. He's a lefty bat with some good power and he shouldn't get paid too much.
I'd let Bautista and Edwin go, take the draft picks, and sign Moss and/or Reddick.
EDIT: and hope that Tulo gets back to being at least a 125 wRC+ hitter
