Doesn't make much sense to trade guys like Stro/Sanchez/Osuna when they all have 4+ years of control.
Trading JD could definitely make sense though. Depends what happens this year and how strong the rest of the division looks.
Yeah. I actually feel bad for Shapiro that those signings never worked out. I think that was the first time Cleveland actually went out and spent money on some solid players, and it turned out worse than anybody could have imagined.
Totally would have liked to sign Rasmus for that kind of money, but there is no way he would've come back here after the way he was treated at the end of 2014.
Obviously just speculation on my part, but that Oct. 3rd date is VERY suspicious. Could it be that there was some sort of argument about who would start the wildcard game? Did Stroman throw a hissy fit and demand to start the game?
Please get educated. You have about 4 months until the season starts. Read some articles on fangraphs. Read about how the 2 most current world series teams were built. Stop spouting your mouth when you don't know s***.
So Edwin is the difference between making the postseason and missing it? Get your head out of your ass. There's still lots of offseason left, and the FO will likely replace the 3 WAR Edwin would have brought with other pieces.
