Thats not how this works lol. You either have a good eye/plate vision or you don't. Your OBP doesn't magically increase by shortening your stride.

Yeah I agree, but that's not always what happens these days. Look at guys like Joc Pederson, who barely gets chances to play against lefties. The game is changing, maybe the FO thinks Tellez provides more value to the organization as a strong RHP masher.

You guys sure Wilner didn't mean Tellez is the "story of the spring" as in, he's going to be the guy to watch? Because he could possibly make an impact THIS SEASON in a platoon type role with Pearce.

I think another big issue is managers taking waaay too long to challenge a play. The manager should have to challenge the play right away. No more calling the video guy and holding up the game for a full minute for every close play.

Excited to see the powerhouse teams like Cleveland, Nats, Cubs. Also excited to see Houston and Seattle fight for the AL west. Seattle is gonna be solid this year. Looking forward to a bounceback season from Bautista, and hoping Pompey can take the LF job and run with it. -
