Would have been nice to have Tulo playing defense besides Vlad. And Lourdes at second. Travis is such a defensive liability.

Random thought but you look at the size of baseball players today and they are normal. How was it not obvious to everyone that McGwire was on steroids?

Whose watching? This is the first game in the spring that i will be watching. Figured I would start a thread in case anyone else is watching.

I think we all agree the amount of wins in the next few seasons is irrelevant since they ain't making the playoffs. The main goal is the development of Vlad and some of the young guys. In baseball, you need some vets around the young guys to help them develop and be somewhat competitive. And Vlad can obviously hit but his defense still needs development, and Tulo would be a good player to learn from.

Boyz focus. Back to Tulo. I'm in the camp that would have liked to see what he could have done now that he is apparently healthy. Especially because i think it would help Vlad to be playing Defense next to one of the premier defensive short stops in the game. I would rather have that then him playing besides Gurriel. I think a Vlad, Tulo, Lourdes and Smoak infield has a better chance than a Vlad, Lourdes, Travis and Smoak infield. Travis is such a defensive liability out there.
