  1. Yeah its a bunch of he said she said, but I wouldn’t be surprised if its true. We’ve learned the last few days that Atkins is a terrible negotiator.
  2. Good point, makes sense. Not sure where that leaves Galvis though
  3. The only thing I can think of is that he didn’t want to risk any more problems with Stroman before the deadline. For example, if Stroman was asked to skip his Tuesday start because he was on the trade block i’m sure he would have flipped his s***.
  4. Maybe they go out and sign that ace when the time is right. In Atkins interview today he talked a lot about the financial flexibility they will have. With the infield and outfield pretty much locked up that could leave a lot of money to acquire a legit ace.
  5. I would be scared to see the kinds of deals Atkins makes on kijiji
  6. Still doesn’t change the fact that the trade looks terrible TODAY and he should have done better.
  7. This trade is actually a joke if Fisher is the only thing we’re getting.
  8. Exit velo probably the only thing intriguing. But also that was the highlight for Morales and Grichuk.
  9. I agree with your final line there. Its blatantly obvious now that Atkins does not know how to negotiate/bluff.
  10. I went and checked Stroman’s twitter and he retweeted a couple of those Keith Law tweets. What a f***ing baby. Get off the social media dude and find an actual hobby that doesn’t show everyone how f***ing dumb you are.
  11. Once again, it seems like Atkins identifies a player he likes and settles for that. Never gets any decent secondary pieces in these trades. I don’t like it. He doesn’t seem to be a very good negotiator.
  12. Front office must be very worried about his finger health. And honestly I agree with them
  13. Idk much about Fisher but I know he isn’t very good
  14. I don’t think he’ll ever escape that finger injury.
  15. Damn. Im really not a fan of Sanchez but I don’t like the idea of trading him after such a s*** season. Could have tried to rebuild value next year.
  16. What the f***? Was that actually Garza tweeting all that crap?
  17. Love it. Freddie seems like a good guy
  18. Anyone else think they traded Stroman early because his next start was coming up today? Like they obviously wouldn’t want him to pitch, and Stroman probably would have flipped out if management told him he can’t pitch until after the deadline.
  19. This is a stupid post
  20. Or he only realized it was a mistake after Francona chewed him out.
  21. I’d be pretty livid if they sold this low on Sanchez. If they want to trade him at least try to rebuild some value next year. If he gets injured again then fine, but i’d rather not just let him go for scraps without giving him one last shot next year.
