    Game 2 was pretty good until Verlander came out and the score got out of hand. Game 3 was pretty close too with Nats having guys on base every inning.

    Jeez by that logic, why not just swing at every pitch? You could hit a homer every time right. Also what the f*** is this thread even for? Are we not allowed to talk about the things that happened in the game and look at the reasons a team won or lost? I’m not sure what your problem is.

    Rendon was awful tonight with runners on base. 3 times he popped up on the first pitch.

    Looking back on this game, its kinda confusing that Hinch went to Pressly instead of Harris or Smith in that situation. Game 2 was extremely important for the Astros, if they keep the game close and force the Nats to use Doolittle and Hudson then the Nats are kinda gassed for games 3/4/5. Instead they let the Nats blow it out and rest their best relievers.

    Frustrating watching the Nats offense this series. Feels like Rendon and Soto are the only ones doing anything (minus Zim’s homerun last game)

    I think Shatkins are in for a rude awakening once they realize that players don’t want to sign with Toronto and that we have to overpay to get anyone to play here.

    What do you guys think about that Taylor hit-by-pitch? Looked like it got bat and hand at the same time... maybe bat first but its hard to tell. Lots of people online (especially Brewers fans) complaining and calling it one of the worst calls in the playoffs in recent years. Thoughts?
