    What a terrible signing. The casuals would have run this team into the ground if they had any say. Imagine being stuck with giant contracts for Price, Bautista, and Edwin. We'd be going nowhere for at least 5 years.

    Christ this team looks terrible. Sad thing is that the casuals will all be blaming Shapiro and co rather than realizing that AA built an old/aging team and this regression was bound to happen. The only serviceable bat that this org has produced the last 5 years is Travis (I know he came over from Detroit AA) and he is always injured. We need guys like Pompey, DSJ, Bichette, Vlad, etc. to develop into everyday players that can contribute something at the major league level.

    Scherzer was pitching a gem in Miami, no-hitter through 7 innings. It all fell apart in the 8th though, and now Washington is losing 2-1. Baseball is weird.

    I don't understand how anyone can call Showalter a good tactical manager after the 2016 AL wildcard game.

    Its really frustrating because he's a great player with a great attitude... I want him to be my favorite blue jay but it's really hard when he's injured all the time. Hopefully we can pick up another quality infielder next season to cover 2B/SS/3B when Travis/Tulo/JD are injured.
