    Behind the plate angle clearly shows he missed the plate. This needs to get better. The umpires union needs to train a small crew of YOUNGER guys that actually know how to work a computer and aren’t suffering macular degeneration to be the permanent replay guys. None of this rotating umps through the replay room ********.

    Espinal optioned to make room for Ray. Feel bad for the guy, there’s not much more he could’ve done to prove he deserves a roster spot. He’s just been a victim of the option these last 2 seasons.

    The Jays still play as the home team though and bat in the bottom of the inning, which is the only thing that matters really. We’re not truly playing at home anyways this year

    Im honestly surprised they did it so soon. I thought they’d give him at least a months worth of starts. Jeez this has to be one of the worst FA signings in franchise history. Literally his only job was to eat innings and he’s given us 50 innings of 5+ ERA.

    Machado did end up getting about 140 games at SS once JJ Hardy left though. Different situation all around, I think the problem there was he just didn’t play SS for so long that he lost the skill there. We don’t have a franchise shortstop at the moment, yes we have Semien but he’s a stopgap. Give Bo the opportunity and let him fail.

    I have a friend that just signed a 1 year lease for a single bedroom condo on Spadina and Front St. for 1600 a month. Seemed pretty low to me given the location.
