  1. Im sure it was "turn the lineup over for the big bats"
  2. Found this on the Twins' subreddit, on the Buxton injury: Typically, the fracture associated with a Boxer's fracture takes about six weeks to heal, and another six weeks to get back to the strength and range of motion that you had prior to the injury that led to the condition. Woof. Probably out til September then?
  3. Yes, fractured hand
  4. Yeah its just the family genes. Not saying that in a bad way or anything, they obviously have godly athletic genes. But in the same way they have godly athletic genes, they can have things that make them more predisposed to certain injuries. That's all im trying to say about Buxton.
  5. It obviously has to be an issue for some guys though right? Like how did Tulo break his damn shoulder on a seemingly insignificant collision with Pillar's face? Speaking of Pillar, how the hell did he take a fastball straight to the face and come out of it fairly well? Funny too since he's basically know for being a tank but he injured his oblique from a SNEEZE in his rookie year w the Jays. Maybe that was a lie by the FO though... Anyways my main point was that idk how you can say Buxton is "unlucky" when he gets injured like 3 times a year. Plenty of players are fine after getting hit on the hand. It doesn't surprise me that Buxton got injured from a HBP. I also wouldn't be surprised if Stanton got hit in the arm and fractured something.
  6. What’s Tulo’s excuse?
  7. Yeah and what im saying is a lot of other guys could probably get hit in the hand and not break any bones... it’s possible for some people to have more brittle bones. Some people broke their arms 5 times as a child and some have never broken a bone.
  8. Rough. At a certain point though, you gotta stop saying its “bad luck”. Some people have weaker bodies than others.
  9. My memory failed me. The rest is correct? Point being Jays easily could/should have won all 4
  10. Well yeah, their latest series sums it up perfectly. Split the 4 game series... the Jays 2 wins were by 10+ runs while the Redsox 2 wins were by 1 run, both being walk-off wins where the Jays were leading most of the game. Extremely frustrating.
  11. There’s no way the players union would agree to that
  12. Yeah I don’t get why charlie seems to be so married to the idea of Springer hitting leadoff. Probably because he’s an idiot.
  13. Couple brutal calls against Gurriel and Reese changed that inning
  14. Walker Buehler 2 innings away from a no hitter but already at 99 pitches EDIT: nevermind
  15. Wow good win. Charlie 4D chess using Romano in the 8th
  16. I can’t believe what im seeing! No idea why Wells didn’t throw a shitball in the dirt to strikeout Bo
  17. God dammit. Great play... easily could have been a hit
  18. Yeah and our pitcher just got thrown out of the game for no real reason. You almost NEVER see that. He’s gotta defend his players
