  1. Lol yeah idk can’t fully remember. All I know is his numbers at AA and AAA were excellent
  2. People forget he was a bat-first prospect coming up. I think he spent a lot of time refining his defense and learning the pitching staff, plus working through injuries. Now he can focus more on his offense.
  3. Yeah we knew the rotation was going to be solid going into this season. And we knew the bullpen was going to be potentially problematic. April was a mirage and casuals like JF54 were trying to say the rotation was crap. Manoah and Gausman have been betting than expected, Berrios and Ryu worse than expected, ans Kikuchi about as expected. Stripling was great in his short stint with Ryu on the DL. I expect Gausman to regress a bit like he did 2nd half last year, Berrios should get a lot better and Ryu is going to hold his own. Kikuchi looks promising his last few starts. Manoah has continued his great performance from last season, though I’m not sure I expect him to keep this pace. Offense will definitely be better going forward. Easier schedule too. This will be a fun and competitive summer.
  4. Yessss. Time to f***ing roll boys.
  5. Nah his fastball is topping like 91 now. His pitch repertoire is more like Hyun-Jin Ryu now than old Aaron Sanchez
  6. Better than the Yankees game, velocity was 97 but he was missing spots a lot and the slider didn’t look sharp.
  7. He could have stuck with Yusei… low pitch count and cruising
  8. Why would you pull the starter early when you know the bullpen is s***
  9. Richards is real feast or famine. Sometimes he’s great and sometimes he’s awful
  10. Not so sure about pulling Kikuchi, he was cruising
  11. Richards/Cimber/Yimi for the rest of the game assuming Kikuchi goes 6? Not exactly reassuring
  12. He looked better in Tampa though and the velocity was back to 97
  13. Romano unavailable tn and being checked out by doctors?? Uhh…
  14. Hell yeah. Hoping its open the entire week!
  15. That lasted even shorter than I expected. Definitely gotta be Vladdy asking to hit 3rd because its more comfortable for him. Fine, whatever.
  16. Didn’t last very long lol
  17. Im pretty sure its the equipment manager of the home team… and yeah idk who is actually checking these things like humidor settings to make sure they are accurate. Probably nobody tbh
  18. Its a possibility. MLB should be policing/enforcing a set humidity rate but I wouldn’t be surprised if they haven’t been monitoring it. We already know the league is extremely inept. I have a feeling the whole humidor thing was rolled out in the first place so that MLB can tweak the humidity settings throughout the season and bump offense up or down on command. The question is, are they even policing the humidor settings in each stadium? Is this the Umpire’s job, or the equipment manager? If its the latter… we already know teams cheat in convoluted ways
  19. The juiced balls for national broadcast theory is still holding strong
  20. Ehh I still think the league will figure him out by next year. His stuff isn’t good
