  1. Isn’t the AAA season over? EDIT: it aint. For some reason I thought it ended like a month earlier than MLB
  2. It really doesn’t make any sense
  3. Yeah exactly. The Blue Jays have been underperforming their “on paper” calculations for decades it seems. f***ing sucks
  4. IF Judge walks (I think he will) then they’ll definitely go hard after someone like Correa or Trea Turner. Could definitely see Turner in pinstripes next year. Let the Yanks and Os drive up the prices for each other haha
  5. Yup true, definitely a disappointing season for them. Larussa gone indefinitely is probably the best improvement they could have.
  6. Yall just forgetting TJ Zeuch made a start in the first series?? And we had a 4 man rotation of Ryu, Ray, Matz and Stripling/Pearson for the first several weeks with spot starts sprinkled in. This year we had a legit 5 man rotation on opening day with Gausman/Berrios/Manoah/Ryu/Kikuchi. s*** happens though. Somehow the rotation this year performed worse.
  7. Lol yeah, which is why I think it’s almost a certainty for 2023. Baltimore will be better. Redsox should be better. Rays should have less injuries.
  8. Fully expecting a divisional realignment for 2024 or 2025 when 4 playoff teams come out of the AL East next year
  9. That's fine, I was just speaking to the team this year/right now. They are not as good as their record shows the last few weeks.
  10. I think 17-16 the rest of the way is probably enough for a playoff spot considering 19 remaining games are against the Os/Rays I would prefer they play better than .500 though
  11. At least we’ll have schedule balancing next year. Won’t have to face the Yanks/Rays/Os for 54 games which would be a f***ing third of our games
  12. Oooh that could be a good one to watch
  13. Pretty sure every team has rookies over performing their salary and vets underperforming. Padres with Hosmer, Yanks with Chapman, Nationals with Corbin…
  14. Yeah fair point, I suppose it depends how they choose to spend that money. If they sign someone like Chris Davis… then its a waste. If they make smart signings they could be good very soon. Like.. Syndergaard on a 5 year contract? Not good. Soto on a 10 year contract? Scary team.
  15. If the jays play like .500 ball the rest of the way (17-16) they probably get a playoff spot due to the fact that would mean several losses for Baltimore and Tampa. Its gonna be a dogfight this last month.
  16. Yup. Its time for us to prove that the Jays are a playoff contender and that Baltimore is a major pretender.
  17. Also a 4 game series at the Trop end of September
  18. My guess is you’re banned come playoff time
  19. Wouldn’t that be rich
  20. Wasn’t great, couldn’t finish many batters. But there were definitely like… 3 runs that scored on weird s***/bad babip luck. - Merrifield missed a liner right at him that cost a run - Kirk tried to throw out the runner stealing 2nd and the runner on 3rd scored on the play… this is with a 1-2 count on the batter who would have been the 3rd out - a bloop single on the LF line that scored 1
  21. Why would they replace the 2022 AL manager of the year??
  22. I love you Cavan
  23. I would not be surprised at all if the Os end the season under .500, or at least do that next year. They are not this good.
  24. Why lefties??
