    Yeah this is where im at too. Idk why there are some people that think trading Jansen is the obvious move. Its like the casuals mindset of “trade the least exciting player” Usually you gotta give more if you want more back.

    I’m down with trading whichever guy brings back the most value to the major league roster. Whether that is Jansen, Kirk or Moreno doesn’t really matter to me. I have no idea which guy the Jays value most either.

    Its 1 season worth of games for a catcher. Maybe 130ish games is more fair. Injury concerns, yes. But if he remains healthy he’s roughly a 4 WAR player

    Can’t find the vid now, but there was a compilation of all the blown saves/toughest losses the Brewers had leading up to the final week of the season and Rogers was responsible for like half of them lol. He’s a big part of why the Brewers missed the postseason.

    Will be interesting to see what Acuna looks like going forward. He took a massive step back this year, more than Vlad even. Assuming he’ll get stronger the further he is from that surgery, but its not a given

    See, in my original comment I never insinuated any of this. All I said was “send them Kirk instead of Jansen, he’ll thrive there”. All I really meant was Kirk > Spanish > lots of Spanish speakers in Miami > he’ll be more comfortable. But mostly it was a joke because I keep saying we should sell high on Kirk and Terminator thinks Kirk is the second coming of Mike Piazza, so the comment was a little jab at him. Ya’ll are dissecting an offhand comment way too much

    I honestly wasn’t aware. Thanks for schooling me. I assumed my comment would be akin to “send the french speaking guy to the Expos” which as a Canadian definitely makes sense.
