    I also know towards the end of the year they weren’t even popping fresh popcorn anymore. They refilled the machines with already-popped stuff from big plastic bags. Not sure wtf was going ok with the food situation late season

    Petco is legit. I remember they had a whole bbq pit area doing brisket and ribs. And the beer selection was nice. Also got some cool customized ice cream sandwiches. RC had better food selections before covid for sure, last year was kinda crap. My dad got those burger lattice fries with mac sauce and they were decent but for some reason as the year went on they disappeared and the food selection got worse by September/October. Cleveland had some great food when we wnet there in like 2017, so here’s hoping Shapiro can improve the stuff here soon. Aramark needs to go

    April 1st. He’ll get announced into the game in the 7th inning, with the Cubs losing 7-2. As he warms up on the mound, he feels a pinch in his shoulder. Catcher knows something’s up. Pitching coach and trainer meet him on the mound. He makes the slow walk back to the dugout without actually getting to face any batters. April fools, can’t believe you guys thought Merryweather was actually going to pitch this season!

    There’s some false idea out there that Bo is entrenched at shortstop and unwilling to switch positions. In reality he’ll play where the FO tells him to, it just makes most sense to keep him at SS for now.

    Finally something we can agree upon. Just busted out undertow yesterday actually and it really holds up. Everytime I try to listen to Tool, I inevitably get bored after a few minutes. They’re super technical and great musicians, but it feels like they have 0 passion about what they’re playing. Like its so over-thought that its lifeless. Im more into the prog-metal/newer metal bands on the scene now. Northlane is doing some interesting stuff

    Yeah he had some wrist issues in 2012 including a season-ending surgery. Didn’t play in the WBC 2013, though DR ended up winning

    Definitely. Also my mom got me a plaque of “greatest jays players all-time” for Christmas and there was a very important 2B missing… The Alomar erasure has been swift and heavy.

    Its so crazy that those 3 guys are all awful defenders and they were the starting OF for like half our games… compare to 2023 where now we have 3 well above average guys out there.

    People think Manoah was our best pitcher last year when it was actually Gausman… and yet Manoah was top 3 in CY voting lol
