Trea Turner is my spirit animal

Looks like Cuba is toast. USA vs Mexico or USA vs Japan are both great matchups.
  3. Stangstag
Yeah major fail by Cuba there
  4. Stangstag
Exciting game so far! Goldy smashed that
  5. Stangstag
Yep. Mexico/Japan Monday. Finals Tuesday. I guess Ohtani pitches Monday? But then he doesn’t pitch the finals if they win.
  6. Stangstag
    #9 hitter Trea Turner
  7. Stangstag

  8. Stangstag
What about when he hits 2 dingers???
  9. Stangstag
I can’t remember half the names in the Rays pen in any given year
  10. Stangstag

USA vs Japan final would be ideal

Say what?? Nah but jk, I watched like 90% of Jays games last year and a smattering of others and I feel like i’ve never in my life heard of Jason Adam
  13. Stangstag
Better than Bednar/Pressly/etc?? Don’t exactly remember who they have in the Bullpen
  14. Stangstag
He was really bad last outing too. Should have had a much shorter leash
  15. Stangstag
Should be bringing in your best relievers here, not…. Jason Adam. Derosa is a terrible manager lol
  16. Stangstag
Altuve broken finger/hand??? Yikes. Bard f***ing sucks
  17. Stangstag
Idk about Bard… last season was probably a mirage

This is basically a home game for Venezuela. Crowd is going crazy for them. Traitors
  19. Stangstag
    He’s a biracial angel
  20. Stangstag
Already looking like a crazy game
  21. Stangstag
Trea batting 9th lol come on. Good they got Schwarber in there though
  22. Stangstag
Vlad been looking good with the launch angle this spring

He was always awful though. Should have been fired in the offseason after missing the playoffs by a game. They fired him mid-season while still competing. That’s definitely sending a message.

I think its silly to outright say that breaking the Barrio had nothing to do with it. The truth is WE DONT KNOW. I personally think its probably a bit of column A and a bit of column B. Probably more about improving the team and contract status and such, but the other stuff was probably a factor. Don’t forget that they fired Charlie mid-season. You can’t tell me that has nothing to do with team attitude/chemistry

    Another big upset wow
