  1. I think they’ll definitely be selling more of the crappy 500s seats. Like the sides rows 15+ will be cheap and people will just go to the fun areas
  2. Idk man the crowds both days seemed extremely casual. Like show up after first pitch casual. Compared to the Seattle fans that were hanging around the stadium well before game time. Game 1 defs had nothing to cheer about. Game 2 had lots to cheer for until the 5th inning came around
  3. That is true. However I do specifically remember the crazy cheering from the Seattle portion of the crowd behind 3B when they scored the go-ahead run in that final game. There were probably more hardcore Seattle fans than hardcore Jays fans at those 2 playoff games. That is a bit embarrassing given the fact we’re in a different f***ing country 5+ hours flight away. Also the fact tickets were going for like 30$ each just an hour before first pitch.
  4. A repeat of 2013…. And 2018…. f***ing pests. Feast or famine franchise the last couple decades
  5. The fact that all he could get was a MiLB deal and we gave him 400 PAs as a playoff team….
  6. Agree with all of this. They definitely ripped this idea from Coors. I can’t see myself actually spending more than 10-15 minutes there though lol. It should be a cool space though.
  7. Mill Street gang. The amber is best
  8. Lol like I said I didn’t even make the connection. I guess we are passed it. Also Corona f***ing sucks, one of the worst popular beers IMO. Although I recently discovered if you mix it with Amaretto it tastes somewhat like Dr.Pepper. Seriously.
  9. Ooof yeah didn't even think about that lol
  10. Tell me you've never lived in a major North American city without telling me you've never lived in a major North American city
  11. He’ll probably hit like… 6 extra inside-the-park homers playing in Fenway fulltime! Or… less since he won’t be playing AGAINST the Redox any more
  12. You actually just forgot Chapman lol
  13. I just don't know what scenario this would ever happen in. If Varsho is able to get to 2nd, it would be a good enough hit that Kirk would go 1st to 3rd unless he totally misreads the ball. If Varsho is scoring from 1st, Kirk definitely has enough time to score from 2nd. The only scenarios where his speed would be suppressed is on potential 1st to 3rd scenarios with Kirk on 2nd and they hold Kirk at 3rd. Or tagging up on flyballs and advancing a base. I don't think it will come up very often. More important IMO to have guys like Kirk/Belt on base for a Varsho homerun like Laika mentioned
  14. Yeah im kinda shocked that people are actually thinking its an issue. Give the best hitters most at bats. Very simple
  15. Extremely high on Varsho??
  16. Fully down for this except for the fact Vlad seems to like hitting 3rd better. Fine. Just swap him with Bo or Kirk and that’s a perfect lineup
  17. I don't think this really matters much. Not as much as giving the best hitters more at bats. Kirk/Springer/Vlad/Bichette should all be in the top 4. The rest can be tinkered with since Varsho/Chapman/Belt all have similar projections. If Belt rebounds to his 2020/2021 numbers then he gets to hit somewhere in the top 4.
  18. Sure, just move em up a couple spots in the lineup
  19. I'd personally like to see Kirk hitting either 2nd or 4th with Bichette in the other spot. 1. Springer 2. Kirk 3. Guerrero 4. Bichette 5. Belt/Varsho 6. Chapman 7. Belt/Varsho 8. Merrifield 9. Keirmaier
  20. Kirk doesn't get nearly enough respect. Almost every mock lineup I see have Varsho and/or Chapman hitting ahead of him. People are also being a bit bullish on Varsho wanting him in the top half of the lineup. I think he fits better as the 6/7 hitter.
  21. Yeah we also just got rid of our consensus top 3 prospect (#1 on some lists). Barreira probably shoots up in the rankings this season. Also how does someone like Barger, with his stellar Milb numbers and generous major-league projections get placed outside the top 100? Just because he's not a big name?
  22. Yankees prospects are consistently overrated year after year.
  23. Like, look at this: Very different
  24. Haven’t seen this posted: https://www.sportsnet.ca/mlb/article/new-outfield-in-renovated-rogers-centre-will-play-very-differently-for-blue-jays/ Pics and descriptions of the new OF fence/dimensions. Looks like the walls are much higher now and we kinda have a LF porch like the Yanks that is fairly short in the power alley
