    Why are you asking for proof if you aren’t going to believe anything they’re saying?? Use your head man, the terrible RISP numbers are not just bad luck at this point. And for the record, players HAVE mentioned the “just make contact” thing this season. Can’t recall exactly when but I remember hearing it at least 2 or 3 times from different players

    Yes, that’s exactly what happened. They saw the shift change + base change and decided on a whole new hitting philosophy trying to be the progressive team. And it totally backfired

    Its even worse. 1-15 against the Redsox and Os. Thats it. Thats the season right there. 6-7 against the Yankees/Rays is totally fine. Its the 1-15 that’s tanking the season

    He gave up 2 rocket doubles to start the game, and a hard hit single. Another rocket double in the 2nd. Other than that, a lot of weak contact. The doubles were all on middle-middle pitches.
