  1. His work in Atlanta has been remarkable but I don’t think he would have had the same level of success if he didn’t try and fail in Toronto, then go on to learn more in the Dodgers front office. He was much better-equipped his second go around as GM.
  2. I dont think this is a controversial opinion?
  3. We don’t need the same daily criticism though. This is like the people complaining about the Varsho trade every day. Do we need to bring this s*** up every day/every time Bassitt has a mediocre start?
  4. Holy s*** haven’t seen you around here in ages
  5. What a great outing for him. And nice that the dudes gave him some run support
  6. I was told Kirk’s defense is very good
  7. Its crazy how that still remains a constant problem this deep into the season
  8. He’s now competing with KK for best 9th hitter in the league
  9. He did it last series too. Duran is gonna be that guy for the sox
  10. You would’ve paid triple for the 12th lol. They’re giving out a batflip bobblehead
  11. I think Duran is the Redsox version of Mountcastle
  12. Does he have more talent?? Lawrie seemed pretty f***ing talented his first season in the majors
  13. Good riddance. Nice to know we’ve got him in AAA now though. I firmly believe he can be a contributor next year. Just needs a reset.
  14. Nonono you see if the Jays offer 1 million more than the next highest offer they can have anyone they want!!! Jays should’ve signed Bassitt for less money, the absolute dumbos!
  15. Yeah they’re in contention solely thanks to the Jays lol
  16. Sorry, I thought he was meaning Springer got shaken up durian the recent Seattle series. I didn’t watch all the games. But also, we have seen guys that were never the same after a concussion. Off the top of my head Dalton Pompey. So maybe it’s lingering effects and he’ll never be the same. Will be interesting to see how Rizzo looks next year
  17. I think it’s clear the front office values durability and innings over flamethrowers with high risk like Eovaldi. And 20 million isn’t outrageous for a mid-rotation arm. Guys like ERod, Jon Gray, Anibal Sanchez all signed for similar deals (albeit, closer to 15 million per). That’s just the going rate for a proven innings eater.
  18. Im surprised he’s still alive
