    Eh. If Mayza just didn’t suck farts today it would have been a smooth easy win. Probably should’ve won in the 9th too. Bad call for the bunt, just let the guys swing. Especially Biggio as a lefty with the ability to pull the ball and advance the runner anyway.

    Manoah should absolutely not be penciled in as the 5th starter. Hoping for a signing of 1 back-end depth type guy. Joc Pederson would be my main target for the lineup with another FA pickup for OF/2B/3B. Bullpen is probably fine as-is if we don’t have the money for improvements. Gotta roll with 2 of Schneider/Barger/Horwitz/Orelvis next year IMO.

    Seems like there’s always 1 weak link in the bullpen on any given day. Can’t have everyone rolling at once. This team continues to be extremely frustrating

    He’ll go through ups and downs over his tenure here in sure. But I hope we don’t ever see an extended funk like he was in there for a while because that was hard to watch. Even still, at the end of the day he’s an elite defender in the OF and seems like he has a great attitude so he’s an easy guy to root for. At his best he should be Pillar defense + Rasmus bat.
