  1. Lets be honest, Vlad probably would have just been thrown out at home on that Espinal grounder and the game would still be going
  2. Have to believe it starts and ends with the coaching staff. Montoyo gone, but the rest kf the coaches remained and we have the same issues. Run it back next year with a new coaching group, if the problem persists then it’s clearly the players. Trade Vlad and Bo after 2024 if things dont improve.
  3. I don’t think it was that, I think he was just pissed he had 3 liners/smoked balls in a row that all found gloves
  4. Even Vlad jogging in there could have been costly, Devers could have come home if he gloved the ball. Such stupid base running
  5. This team is just so unlikeable. Holy s*** we managed a win
  6. f***ing robbed again. We aren’t winning this game folks
  7. Hicks gave up a run in the 12th, then the Jays tied in the bottom of the inning. Ghost runners don’t counts towards ERA
  8. Yeah. The good teams win these games. Atlanta, Dodgers, Rays, Guardians, Baltimore, and a few others probably would have won this game in the 9th. Or the 10th. Or the 11th. Jays f***ing suck man
  9. Good teams would have won the game already. Tha Jays are not a good team
  10. This is how the Rangers games SHOULD’VE been
  11. “We wanted to keep his glove in the game”
  12. Schneider got robbed the last 2 at bats
  13. Yeah not at all a guaranteed sac fly. Still dumb he didn’t tag up though. I get furious when my softball teammates pull that s***, its like so simple to understand and IDK how a major leaguer makes that mistake
  14. Can never get that big hit
  15. Wow that’s crazy, never thought of it like that
  16. They beat us 4 of 7 so yeah it checks out
  17. Slightly less enjoyable, extremely less stressful
  18. You can still watch October baseball without the Jays
  19. It starts with game 1 too though. Left Bassit in way longer than they should’ve when it was clear he was struggling, presumably because they wanted to save the pen for the rest of the series. But then they don’t even end up using Romano a single time, and Hicks gets 1 appearance in a blowout. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me with this being the pivotal series of the season. Again, like I said there seemed to be no sense of urgency in this series.
  20. Its still an issue. Especially in the 4th game there… like what exactly are we “saving” the better arms for? This is it, this is the season. Just 0 sense of urgency the entire series
  21. Yup. Romano was pretty useful in the series too. Just great management all around
  22. Pre-madonna lol Spanky dfkm
  23. Bassit gifting the Rangers a free run in the first game of the series was an omen for things to come
  24. People forget how poorly he managed that ALCS game 4 against KC. Jays were down 5-2 and he put in LaTroy Hawkins (6th inning I think) who was struggling big time near the end of the season. Proceeds to blow the game wide open, leading to Pennington pitching and allowing KC to rest the Davis/Holland combo and putting the Jays down 3-1 in the series. Jays had a chance to come back still, and if they had then evening the series 2-2 is a major difference from being down 3-1. Pretty much the same scenario you guys are complaining about with Richards except in the playoffs. And Schneider had guys like Garcia and Romano well-rested in the pen. Season on the line. Embarrassing.
