Yeah seems like Dodgers initial offer was around 500 million, Jays “godfather” offer upped it to 600, and the Dodgers came back with 700. Jays would’ve probably needed to go up to 800 if they wanted Ohtani.

At the end of the day, Ohtani is 1 person and he gets the final decision. If he wants to play for a “winner” than the Dodgers make the most sense.

Don’t lose hope people!! Even though Shohei wasn’t on the flight, the report from the Dodgers Nation guy is still potentially true. This report and the whole flight thing don’t contradict each other. Very possible this is still accurate. The only odd part is that nobody else has corroborated yet.

Guys, its very possible that the Dodgers were informed of the decision and now they dgaf about keeping things quiet, which is why it leaked from the Dodgers side. Jays are still keeping things quiet to respect Ohtani's wishes. Or its all ******** lol
