Thankfully we shouldn’t have any more pivotal calls like this that can change the course of a game, starting next season. Homeplate umps making calls based on players “showing them up” is an absolute joke.
I believe he’s saying the most likely scenario is that the standing remain the same tomorrow, but that doesn’t really take into account that the Jays will be playing a much tougher matchup
