  1. Have you ever watched baseball before?
  2. Because he expected a curve in the dirt dumbo and the pitch was 93MPH
  3. Doing it to a rookie/backup catcher too and he knows the dude can’t make a fuss about it since he’s expendable. What a loser
  4. No see its simple, just put him on a bus to Buffalo and have him start a game next week.
  5. They seem to get a hardon for certain players like IKF, Straw, Zimmer, etc. and then go all tunnel vision on them.
  6. You’re a degen man, what happened to 48 hours off
  7. Hoffman, Dominguez, Varland, Little fit that bill IMO, they’re just all s***ing the bed at the same time. But yeah too late now to stack the bullpen for a doomsday scenario like we are witnessing
  8. Difference of opinion but im not willing to let them off easy like that. Bottom line they needed to do more at the deadline and they didn't.
  9. I don't think i said that previously man, i said I wanted Schneider gone. Last year was a blip and i was onboard with giving it one last run with the Bo/Vlad core this year. My issue is with this front office always doing just enough to be good and not great. If we waste another good team this year because they refused to move prospects at the deadline, im over these guys.
  10. I see a lot of funbox poking by one guy here, his name is SPANKY
  11. If they don't do anything in the playoffs this year i think its fair to say we should bring in new people.
  12. Thats been our problem with Schneider all along. Much of that blame lies with the front office. We’ve seen multiple times (even in big playoff games) that he has zero feel for the game and the “pre-game playbook” is king, yet the front office continues to back him. He should have been fired after the Seattle 8-1 blown game. Bullpen mismanagement and not using JBJ who was literally acquired to be a defensive replacement. Subbing Tapia for Merrifield with a 8-1 lead and JBJ on the bench is an instantly fireable offense IMO but the front office continues to back him.
  13. Yeah end of the day, even if they somehow get the bye to the ALDS they won’t win a series with the bullpen in its current state. Our relievers need to turn it around or homefield advantage and a longer series wont matter at all.
  14. Nance got the kinda rope/treatment we expect Hoffman should be getting
  15. Its crazy at this point, not much you can do. They need to turn it around
  16. They still haven’t figured it out even after leaving Cleveland in 2016 and seeing what happened with Andrew Miller. Or how we missed a playoff spot in 2021 because of the bullpen. Or how we choked the 2022 playoffs. Or how we never improved the offense in 2023 and lost 2 close games in the playoffs.
  17. Yeah bigger picture decisions like this have been a problem. Plus not doing more at the deadline. The day-to-day decisions of JS are the least of the team’s problems IMO.
  18. Fair enough, i suppose i can see that. I did want Nance to be given the chance but maybe he should have been given more rope.
  19. Anyways, this is another loss on the front office for not strengthening the bullpen more at the deadline.
  20. Can’t close it out against the 7-8-9 hitters is atrocious. This bullpen is a tire fire right now and there’s nothing they can do to fix it.
