    and still an unreliable team. I think we have should expect significant injuries from Lawrie and Morrow every year. They will never have full healthy seasons.

    Im just tired of watching this team fail. I would rather see a brand new team of young guys. However, I don't think that AA will admit defeat. We will have to ride this gong show for another couple years until AA is fired.

    And I believe that Detroit would take Reyes. They have been increasing payroll like crazy. If they make another WS appearance this year, I could totally see them taking on Reyes for 2014.

    Yeah I thought about the money problem... IDK, I would just fork over some cash too. Just so we can get rid of the old guys and bring in new guys. I think KC would do Lind plus Rasmus for Hosmer in a heartbeat if they are anywhere close at the deadline.

    - Rasmus plus Lind to KC for Hosmer at the deadline - Jose Reyes to Detroit for Nick Castellanos - Jose Bautista to Texas for Profar - Bonifacio plus Buehrle to StL for Wong Makes the team alot younger and alot CHEAPER. Gives us flexability to sign a power bat and decent pitcher in the offseason.

    Just gauging what you guys think a prospect like Profar is worth. Im gonna put together a thread for my idea of a COMPLETE overhaul of the team.

    Lol, not a chance man. Profar is like the #2 prospect in all of baseball. It would take at least Bautista + Johnson. I included Arencibia because Texas has been going through alot of catchers these past few years, it seems like they would like a young catcher. Maybe JP doesn't hold any value though.

    I wanted to ask you guys what you think it would take to make a trade for Profar at the deadline this year. Is texas even interested in trading him? What about Bautista + Johnson (if he is pitching well) + Arencibia for Profar? Would it take more? Thoughts please

    I think if AA fails to offload anyone at the trade deadline, he should be fired at the end of the season.

    Not gonna happen though. We all know AA is too proud to admit defeat.

    Yeah. I kinda thought this team could make a comeback. Not with all these injuries though. I think its time to stick a fork in it for this season. I reaally hope he just trades EVERYONE at the deadline and in the offseason. Start again with a fresh young team next year.

    Morrow was expected. Glad we essentially are "cutting the cord" on Romero. I guess Jenkins is being sent down for a week or two due to the fact that we have nobody to start on Sunday and have two off-days next week. Jenkins BETTER be back up asap, he was pitching fantastic.
