    They probably told him he wouldn't be guaranteed a starting role. TBH, he's not that special at basketball. Volume scorer, mediocre-at-best shooter, useless on defence. Team Canada finally has a watchable team, even without him. He seems like a selfish idiot all around, so he can f*** off.

    For half of the round I was thinking “s*** why isn’t anyone drafting Deivi Garcia?” and then I thought he was going to somehow slip to me. And THEN I realized he had a cup of coffee in AA last year

    This is anecdotal, but I feel like I’ve observed very little slippage in this draft compared to years past (relative to my own board, of course). If I like 3 guys and there are 5 picks before me, normally I would expect at least one of them to reach me; not so this draft.
