    I'm starting to come around on Ubaldo. If we could get him for 4x$16M with a club option, I'd probably be okay with that. You break even on 2.2 WAR/season give or take, that's not a bad bet for our place on the win curve. If he gives you three 3 WAR years and one dud, you got your money's worth.

    I actually don't mind that, I consider it socialism. I'd rather lose a couple rosterable players than have a team so stacked that rebuilding teams want to quit the league.
