Tazawa has worked out pretty well for me, and I still think Tommy la Stella will be relevant this year in deep leagues. Avilan was a pretty big bust though, but that's relievers for you.

That f***ing sucks though. I have Fielder in The League and that is a colossal blow to my already borderline team.

Allen Craig and/or Matt Carpenter could be had for the right price.

Well he's got a very long swing, so there's that. The PitchFX numbers indicate that he has more trouble with fastballs than breaking balls, so it could just be that the book is out and he can't handle good velo in certain locations. He has hit almost 30 HR in a season though, so he owns that upside.

I feel like Dom Brown should strike out a lot more than he does.

Not terribly surprising considering he's burning thru his pitch count in 4-5 innings on the reg and giving up a ton of gopherballs. The velo is also down 3 MPH this year, so either he's got durability issues or an underlying injury, both of which have been red flags on him in the past.

I would disagree, he looked extremely rattled in the interview after his most recent blowup, before he was placed on the DL (which I called, by the way). He's inside his own head at this point.

Gotta love his K/BB rates and power that he's displaying. Based on his numbers, you'd have to think he's on the cusp of a promotion. He'll make some Top 100 lists if he keeps this up. He could turn out a lot like Lucroy.

Buerhle is an old fart who doesn't K anyone, so it's hard to roster him thru the cutdown. But when the season starts and injuries hit, suddenly he's a moderately attractive depth provider of Winz, and hopefully an ERA/OBPA contributor. You can't replace Jose Fernandez, but between Garza and Buerhle, hopefully I'll have replaced his W/K contributions. The ratios will suffer regardless.

FYI, Clint Coulter was sent to Burrito Boyz to complete the Buerhle trade, which has been processed.

My DL rotation is better than the 90% of the rotations in this league. Fernandez Sale Anibal Medlen Now I know how BTS felt. Except in my case, two of them aren't coming back.
