    The thing about a trade like this is it's entirely unenforceable. So if you rent out your stud for a 1st round pick, and the renter reneges on sending him back to you, I say tough s***.

    Yeah, he's probably more of a 120/125 wRC+ guy ROS, rather than the 143 he's posted so far. His splits were pretty extreme last year and I don't think he'll hit lefties as well as he has so far in 2014.

    I'm surprised, with all the love for Moss, that some of you contenders didn't think to make an offer for him earlier, when KK has clearly stated his intention to rebuild. BTS, surely you could have landed him for Syndergaard + a 1st, at the most.

    He's on pace for 45 HR. As a competitor, either you pay the toll to acquire talent like that, or someone else will.

    Sniffing out the bidder and driving up the price? I quite enjoy doing that when negotiations go public. This is why I operate under the radar and try to finalize deals quickly whenever possible.

    It's gotta be at least what Brandon Moss returned, right? Take them to the cleaners! Cruz is an elite slugger and should return multiple top prospects plus a 1st rounder.

    He got BABIPed pretty hard this year, although apparently hitting at Petco and Safeco is pretty hazardous to your mental state. A lot of these guys freak out that they can't hit home runs like they're used to and start trying to yank it.
