  1. Didn't you guys already get threatened with bans?
  2. Considering your woeful offense this year, Ortiz probably would have helped you more. Lester had a great bounceback year though, that's for sure.
  3. Madison Bumgarner is a god damn stud. The guy could have 3 WS rings at the age of 25.
  4. Every team needs David Ortiz; the guy gets no respect. If Billy Muntler or Brandon Belt gave you 35/100 (in 142 games!), you'd be blowing them up big-time. I have absolutely no intention of trading David Ortiz, even if I could get Tyler Glasnow back for him. I fully intend to ride him until retirement, probably same goes for Pujols.
  5. Joe Mauer won't have C eligibility next year, although I'm sure you already know that.
  6. Productive hitters in their early 30s seem to be routinely undervalued and sold pre-decline in dynasty leagues. I personally think that 3-4 years of being an elite contender is worth the 1-2 years I'll spend rebooting the team.
  7. My youngest starting position player is 28.
  8. I haven't made a goddamn move yet. Although my roster is pretty perfect already.
  9. I like the Votto package, although I'm a big fan of Stroman and Tapia. I don't really get the Pedroia trade, I think he's pretty much done being an elite player. Kipnis had a bad year, but he still has upside.
  10. There are no guarantees in the prospect draft lottery, just ask Boxy.
  11. I would argue that if you own Bernier, you benefit more than any other team by acquiring Reimer. Then you'd never miss a start, and between the two of them you'll get more starts than any other #1 goalie in the league.
  12. Legit #1 goalie James Reimer is available. We are looking for some scoring punch from a winger.
  13. I could see Horny making a run at 40 G this season. #thenewneal
  14. Everyone pretty much follows the same method: get a bunch of power arms and convert starters who can't cut it. There's no secret formula. The Jays had an excellent bullpen in 2013 (8th best in MLB), and it went to s*** this year (22nd). That's the way it goes.
  15. 2 out KC's big 3 bullpen arms will probably be injured or just outright lose it next year. Relievers are extremely volatile, there's no way to really predict who's going to be dominant from year to year, with very few exceptions. There's no foolproof way to build an elite bullpen; you get some talented arms and a decent pitching coach, and every once in awhile they coalesce for a full season of excellence.
  16. Who is the commish anyway? Get rid of wilko.
  17. Dat 56 wRC+ vs LHP just screams breakout superstar.
  18. I'm pretty stoked about you starting a sub-replacement level OF too.
  19. WTF is wrong with wilko? I seriously think he's a sociopathic troll. I can't come up with another plausible explanation why he would continually join leagues and then abandon them almost immediately. Pull the plug before this goes too far.
  20. I think that's a pretty fair offer. 200 IP! 13 winz! 3.39 ERA! The man is a big fat stud.
  21. Liriano alone is more valuable than Hamilton IMHO.
  22. That's not true, I offered you Fart Buerhle for Aramis.
  23. I actually don't have any good prospects and a stacked OF, so I didn't bother. I usually don't make a trade unless I get a package I love, there's no time limit. Anyway this is a dynasty league, people are going to comment on every deal, positive or negative. Sometimes people love my trades, sometimes they get panned. It comes with the territory, no need to get butthurt about it.
