I do think he has potential but I'm looking for someone who's a better bet for heavy innings this year.

If fatty Butler had OF as well it might help. Suddenly a new team is in play. This could get done quickly, although I'd like to see if FTD is in before I make a decision.

I would disagree with that, but you have to love St. Louis for any pitcher.

I wouldn't say he's really good. He's good enough, he's adequate. He's above replacement level but he's also been far worse in recent memory. He's 36 and probably looking at a 3.80 ERA/FIP and an OBPA over .300. The K/BB is solid.

He's not even worth half his contract though. You have to assume Navarro would be a part of any such trade.

I'd probably want Dickey from min, Ervin from FTD, or Lackey from North. If one of you three (or others) is in at that cost, let me know.

I want a comparable SP, and definitions of this seem to vary considerably.

There's playing time at the corner OF spots and time at 1B/DH. An injury to any one of Ortiz, Napoli, Betts, Sandoval, Hanley, or Bogaerts thrusts him into a full-time opportunity. More to the point, he'll play if he hits.

You fools are all missing the buy-low opportunity. I would be interested in FC, but my OF and 1B/DH are crowded. This is a guy who had a .375 wOBA the previous two seasons. There's literally no way he's as bad as he was in 2014.

I originally had your hitting at B+, but I decided any team with Trout is probably better than that. Plus I didn't want to have to re-order my PRs after lowering your PIT rating.
